The fourth quarter of 2021 witnessed diverse performance trends among the top news and magazine apps in Greece, as revealed by Sensor Tower's latest data.

Ελληνικές εφημερίδες experienced a dramatic surge in downloads, peaking at approximately 110.4K in the week of December 20. This app saw a significant increase in weekly downloads throughout October, starting with 23 downloads in late September and rising to over 1K by the end of October.

Star.gr also showed a notable increase in downloads, especially in the week of December 20, where it reached about 33.4K downloads. For most of the quarter, the app maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 150-200 weekly downloads.

Google News - Daily Headlines had a relatively stable performance with a slight upward trend. Weekly downloads spiked to 17.4K in the week of December 20. The app consistently hovered around 350-500 downloads per week for the majority of the quarter. Active users remained robust, fluctuating between 166K and 183K throughout the quarter.
